Drivers often receive requests to autograph unusual objects and even body parts, but when a couple asked Chase Elliott to participate in the gender reveal of their baby, that was a first for the Georgia native.

The request came during Hendrick Motorsports Fan Day prior to the Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Bank of America Roval 400. The couple handed Elliott a white cap and two Sharpie pens, one pink and one blue. They also handed him an envelope containing the woman’s sonogram that had been acquired before they arrived at the event on the Hendrick Motorsports campus.
